Tournament Format & Rules

Precision, partnership and fair play

  • The format of the tournament is a Betterball Stableford for
    60 exclusive couples over a 3-day period.
  • All players to play off their GOLFRSA Handicap index. All
    players must have entered at least 6 rounds in the last 12 months prior to the tournament.
  • Players will be allowed to play off any tee, provided that the tee you start on day one will be the tee you play from for the rest of the tournament. Your handicap for the tournament will be calculated on course handicap from the tee you decided to play from. All players will play off a 85% handicap allowance.

 

Handicaps will be frozen from Tuesday, 12 May 2026.

Wednesday, 13 May 2026 – Battle of the Sexes

  • Complimentary Practice Round
  • Shotgun Start: 11:00
  • Format: Individual Stableford – Battle of the sexes
  • Prize Giving: 18:00
  • Registration & Welcome: 18:00 for 19:00
  • A Feast Fit for High-Rollers: 19:00

Thursday, 14 May 2026 – Tournament Day One

  • Breakfast: 06:00 – 09:00
  • Tee Times: 07:00 – 09:00 (10-minute intervals)
  • Format: Betterball Stableford
  • Halfway Stop: 10-minute break (own account)
  • Lunch: 12:30 – 15:00
  • Evening Banquet from 18:00

Friday, 15 May 2026 – Tournament Day Two

  • Breakfast: 06:00 – 09:00
  • Tee Times: 07:00 – 09:00
  • Format: Betterball Stableford
  • Halfway Stop: 10-minute break (own account)
  • Lunch: 12:30 – 15:00
  • Evening at Leisure

Saturday, 16 May 2026 – Final Day & Gala Evening
